Innovus Cumbria Intro

Innovus inspires people and organisations in Cumbria to innovate and grow. A partnership between the National Nuclear Laboratory (NNL) and The University of Manchester, it is supported by Britain’s Energy Coast, the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority (NDA) and the Government's Regional Growth Fund.

Innovus aims to significantly increase research, development and innovation activity in Cumbria and provide the primary focus for technology innovators, entrepreneurs and investors. The creation of a pipeline of new technologies at various stages of commercial development, along with the direct support that's available through Innovus, reduces the early risk for businesses developing new ideas.

Whether new innovations come from some of the great research programmes being undertaken at UK universities, or are the result of an ingenious invention planned out in a spare room at home - Innovus is here to help you take them forward to industry and make them a commercial success.
